1. Personal Information We Hold

We collect and store personal information provided by customers when making travel bookings. This may include details of job applicants and employees.

We also retain employee “My Number” identifiers, as well as those of their dependents and individuals in ongoing contractual relationships, as required for official documents such as payment statements.

2. Purpose of Use

Customer information is used primarily for:

  • Communication related to travel bookings

  • Arranging transportation, accommodation, and related services

  • Processing payments

In addition, Synk may use customer information for:

  • Providing information on Synk or affiliated products, services, and promotions

  • Collecting feedback and opinions after travel

  • Conducting surveys and offering special benefits

  • Statistical analysis and customer relationship management

  • Marketing and analysis purposes deemed relevant to the customer

Personal information of job applicants is used for identity verification, communication, and recruitment purposes.

3. Provision to Third Parties

As necessary to arrange travel services, Synk may provide personal information (e.g., name, gender, age, address, contact details, passport information, payment information) to external providers such as transport companies, hotels, service vendors, or agents.

In case of illness or accident, Synk may ask for an emergency contact. This information will only be used in urgent situations and must be provided with that person’s prior consent.

4. Collection and Use

  • Personal information will not be used beyond the stated purpose without customer consent.

  • If personal information is shared with third parties, Synk will notify customers and obtain prior consent.

  • For minors, parental consent is required.

  • Providing information is voluntary, but missing details may prevent us from completing bookings or communication.

5. Outsourcing

Synk may outsource certain operations (e.g., tour guiding, airport assistance, payment processing) to trusted third-party companies.

6. Inquiries and Requests

Customers may request notification, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or cessation of third-party provision of their personal data. Synk will provide guidance on the necessary procedures. Please note that requests which significantly disrupt operations may not be fulfilled.

7. Handling of “My Number” Data

Personal numbers will be used only within the scope defined by the My Number Act, and will not be provided to third parties except as permitted by law. Once related tasks are completed, the numbers will be securely deleted or destroyed.

8. In Case of a Data Breach

If a personal information breach occurs, Synk will promptly notify affected customers. To ensure security, we may temporarily suspend systems and publish relevant information on our website.

Delivery of Confirmation

Fees

Customers are responsible for any communication costs related to receiving the confirmation email and displaying the electronic ticket.
